I loved putting together this post on Christmas Cupcakes kids can make (or help decorate). I only wish I would have done it a week earlier, and saved myself some stress (and another gray hair). I have a feeling you might relate to my panic…
You have probably been there yourself. You know – when you suddenly get the notice that the holiday bake sale is the very next day! And there is literally no time to shop, let alone plan, and a teensy-weensy window of time between say 10 pm and midnight to get any “extra” chores done. And I just simply can’t bring myself to send in a box of store-bought treats – but no judgement to those who do! I totally get it!!
Lo and behold, my day was saved by The Littlest Helper very thoughtfully coming down with a nasty cold the same evening – she was fortunately too sick to go to school (oh dear – that sounds a little twisted, doesn’t it?). However, I don’t want to end up stuck in the lurch for the next Christmas bake sale, pot-luck, cake-walk, class party…so I have tracked down 15 of the most fabulous Christmas Cupcakes out there. Actually, the Littlest Helper did the choosing (her idea of heaven – no school AND a free pass for an hour of Pinterest!). I short-listed her favorite holiday treats to 15 that looked easy for kids to make, or at least decorate. I promise you, Santa would give these holiday treats his seal of approval!
And now on to our…
