As you may recall, our beautiful little daughter created a wonderful book of Christmas Jokes for Kids last December (you can read about how that came to happen in this post here ). While I initially dropped the idea of a book in her ear as a way to explain why she was so often seeing pictures and other references to Santa on my computer screen, she is the one who took the idea and ran with it as an opportunity to raise funds for charities for children and animals. I love the way her little heart and mind work!
I promised you all an update once we had decided on charities and her website was up, so here you go!
Maxime-Alexandra ultimately decided on four charities that she wants to support. There were a few challenges in narrowing down the options, as many charities are country specific, and she wanted something that would make everyone who purchases her book feel connected to the causes she is supporting. Hence they had to be international charities. You can learn more about the decision-making process here.
