After Letters from Santa 🙂 , one of this little family’s favorite Christmas Traditions is creating homemade Christmas ornaments each year. The Littlest Helper crafts up  oodles of Ornaments as gifts for her teachers and grandparents, her friends, for our own tree, and most importantly, to leave for Santa Claus when he stops by Christmas Eve!

This year she has asked me once again to go into her class to lead her class in crafting up some DIY Christmas ornaments, so we have been on the hunt for new ideas. Our focus this year is on nature-inspired ornaments (which should help clear out some of the found treasures around here!) and I am really excited about the wonderful inspiration we have found from our crafty blogger friends! Elf Crafts for Kids! I have to admit it…we are a little Elf loco over at our little workshop, so I am beyond excited that I can share this awesome collection of fun and easy Elf crafts with you!

Santa is without a doubt the most important old soul around our house in December, for a whole lot of reasons. And while the big guy is no doubt special, between you and me, the younger, less renowned Elves get a lot more attention! First and foremost, Bellae – our little Elf on the Shelf – who makes impromptu appearances all year through, and whose December 1st arrival is anticipated for months in advance. Once she does arrive, boy, does she put on a show for the next 24 nights!
